Overview

PNP Events was delighted to work alongside the organisers of the annual Ludlow Spring Festival 2026, helping to enhance the visitor experience through creative design, event branding and site-wide signage solutions. We were also proud to support the event as one of its official sponsors through the provision of our specialist event services, including creative design, marketing artwork, signage production and installation.

Held from 8–10 May 2026 within the stunning grounds of Ludlow Castle, Ludlow Spring Festival is one of the region's most anticipated events, celebrating exceptional food, drink, entertainment and local culture. The festival brings together independent brewers, artisan producers, live music, comedy, talks, tastings, family activities and the popular Marches Transport Festival, all set against the backdrop of one of England's most iconic medieval castles.

Objectives

With thousands of visitors expected across the three-day festival, the organisers required a cohesive visual identity that would:

Enhance visitor navigation throughout the castle grounds.
Reflect the festival's premium yet welcoming atmosphere.
Provide clear information for attendees across multiple activity zones.
Maintain consistency across both onsite and promotional materials.
Respect and complement the historic surroundings of Ludlow Castle.

Creative Design & Artwork

Working closely with the festival team, we designed and produced a fresh take on previous marketing materials from their current branding that could be used across both onsite signage and promotional materials.

Our design work focused on:

Creating clear and engaging wayfinding graphics.
Developing consistent branding across the festival site.
Designing signage that complemented the character of the historic venue.
Ensuring key information was easily visible and accessible to visitors.

The result was a unified visual identity that strengthened the festival experience from arrival through to departure.

Signage Production

We supplied and produced a wide range of new signage throughout the event, helping visitors navigate the various attractions and activity areas across the expansive castle grounds. Using our own onsite industiral printer and cnc machine to create fresh vinyl posters and material.

Signage included:

Entrance and welcome signs
Directional and wayfinding signage
Event information boards
Sponsor recognition displays
Activity and attraction signage

Each element was carefully designed to be both practical and visually appealing within the unique setting of Ludlow Castle.

Onsite Installation

Beyond the creative and production stages, our team played an active role in the installation of signage across the festival site.

Working within the constraints of a historic venue requires careful planning and execution. Our team coordinated the placement and installation of signage to ensure:

Maximum visibility for visitors.
Safe and secure positioning.
Minimal impact on the historic surroundings.
