What started as a single magical train ride in the Yorkshire Dales has grown into one of the UK’s most loved Christmas experiences.
Since 2019, PNP Events has been bringing THE POLAR EXPRESS™ Train Ride to life, not just as an event, but as a fully immersive experience where families step inside the story, meet the characters, and truly believe in the magic of Christmas.
From heritage railways to a landmark debut on the UK mainline at London Euston, this journey has been about one thing: creating unforgettable memories at scale, without ever losing the magic.
Where It All Began – Wensleydale Railway (2019)
In 2019, the very first PNP Events THE POLAR EXPRESS™ Train Ride experience launched at Wensleydale Railway.
Families arrived in their pyjamas, stepped onto a beautifully dressed train, and were instantly transported into the story, with chefs serving hot chocolate, the conductor leading the journey, and Santa delivering that all-important silver sleigh bell.
The event quickly became a must-do Christmas tradition, welcoming tens of thousands of guests each year and proving there was huge demand for high-quality, immersive festive experiences in the UK.
Scaling the Magic – Spa Valley & South Devon (2021)
By 2021, PNP Events was ready to grow.
Two new locations launched:

Each brought its own character, scenery, and local audience, but the challenge was clear:

A Major Milestone – London Euston (2024)
Mainline Premiere – Euston Station
In 2024, everything stepped up again.
PNP brought THE POLAR EXPRESS™ Train Ride to London Euston, a fully operational mainline station. This included;

Delivering the same immersive experience in a fast-paced, urban environment
And yet, the magic was still real.
